Hope for war-traumatised Somalis

Conflict in Somalia has left a lasting impact on its people. The World Health Organisation says one out of every three Somalis suffer from mental illness.
With an upcoming election, the Somali people hope to finally move beyond the scars – physical, mental and socio-political – left by the nation’s long-running conflict.
Al Jazeera’s Nazanine Moshiri reports from Mogadishu.
