Japan takes on the yakuza

Japan’s organised crime gangs, known as the yakuza, have been operating for centuries. Their work involves extortion, armed attacks and corporate crime.
Now, as Al Jazeera’s Chan Tau Chou reports from Tokyo, police are enforcing a new law in the battle against the criminals.
