UN engages in more aggressive DRC mission
Peacekeepers step up campaign to protect civilians as rebel fighters boost offensive.

Rebels, who have stepped up their offensives in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, have taken control over the town of Bunagana, a major border post, after clashes with government troops that killed a UN soldier on Friday.
The development came as the foreign peacekeepers engage in an unprecedented aggressive mission to protect civilians in the conflict with M23 rebels.
