DR Congo battles rebels for key supply town

Al Jazeera gains exclusive access to UN forces backing up the Congolese army in the battle for strategic Bunagana town.

Rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo are fighting the Congolese army for control of the strategic town of Bunagana on the border with Uganda.

If Bunagana falls, the occupied territory would choke off supplies to thousands of civilians who have been forced from their homes to escape the violence.

Al Jazeera’s Peter Greste met United Nations troops who are backing up the Congolese army.
