The concept of three-dimensional, or 3D, printing has been around for a while, but it has only recently come into commercial use.
The printers are now more affordable and people are dreaming up a range of new items to make.
From musical instruments to prosthetic limbs to airplanes, experts say the potential uses of this emerging technology are staggering.
