Security forces in Pakistan’s biggest city, Karachi, are struggling to maintain the upper hand in a war between gangs divided on ethnic lines.
At least 13 people were killed in gang fights in a little more than a week, in addition to other violence coming from armed political factions in the city.
Al Jazeera’s Imtiaz Tyab has this exclusive report.
