Foreigners launch hunger strike in UAE jail
Foreign businessmen imprisoned in Dubai for bounced cheques refuse food to protest their situation.

A group of foreign businessmen has launched a hunger strike in a jail in the the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai.
The men are in prison for writing cheques that later bounced, which is a criminal offence in the Gulf country.
Al Jazeera’s Jane Ferguson reports from Dubai.
