Venezuelans split over Bolivar monument
Critics of Hugo Chavez say mausoleum to honour country’s liberator is presidential vanity project.

A new monument is rising over the skyline of Venezuela’s capital Caracas. It is a mausoleum, being built to honour the country’s liberator Simon Bolivar.
But President Hugo Chavez’s critics have seized on the project as a means of attacking the country’s leader.
