How Mexico drug lords spend ill-gotten gains
Nation awash in money-laundering front companies even as gangsters continue to buy obligatory “bling”.

It is well known that Mexico’s narcotics magnates have billions of dollars at their disposal.
Some of that money goes towards the staple “bling” – gold-plated semi-automatics, luxury accommodations and cars.
Nevertheless, an increasingly large portion of the ill-gotten gains is being used on real estate and money-laundering operations.
