Drug cartels target Peruvian officials
Threat follows influx of gangs from Mexico and Colombia lured by Peru’s booming cocaine business.

Peru is becoming one of the world’s leading cocaine producers, causing drug gangs from across Latin America to flock to the country.
But now the lives of Peruvian officials are being threatened by drug cartels from Mexico and Colombia.
Al Jazeera’s Mariana Sanchez reports from Lima.
