Stiff challenges await Senegal’s new leader
President-elect Macky Sall says working on steep cost of living will be high on his agenda.

Senegal, the only country in West Africa that did not suffer a military coup, has added yet another feather to its cap.
The country saw a peaceful run-off presidential election on Monday with opposition candidate Macky Sall defeating incumbent President Abdoulaye Wade.
Fifty-year-old Sall is working on forming a new government.
Working fast on the steep cost of living is high on the agenda, Sall told Al Jazeera.
