Egypt virus outbreak causes mass cattle death

Thousands of cattle and other animals have died in Egypt as a result of a serious outbreak of foot and mouth disease.

A new strain of the virus was detected a few weeks ago and has infected more than 10-thousand animals across the country.

Local farmers say the government has been slow to respond.
