Gaza crippled by power crisis
Many Gazans are suffering in winter as single power plant in the enclave remains shut.

For more than a month now, Gaza has been dealing with a crippling energy crisis.
The single power plant, which supplies nearly a third of Gaza’s power has been shut down three times.
And while the Palestinian Energy Authority says it paid Egypt two million dollars for fuel, it has received nothing for it.
Now with a cold spell hitting the area, many are suffering.
