A paralysed British man who wants to end his life and needs help to do so has won the right to have his case heard
by London’s High Court.

Tony Nicklinson, who communicates through a computer due to paralysis, wants a doctor to be able to help him die – without the risk of being prosecuted for murder.

Currently British law says that assisted suicide is a crime carrying a maximum 14-year prison sentence.

Charlie Angela reports from London.
