UN Chief slams Syria for attacks on Homs

Almost a year after the uprising began, and after more than a month of heavy shelling in Homs, Syrian activists are still calling for international help.

WIth the diplomatic effort to end the violence being led by Kofi Annan, the special envoy for the UN and the Arab League, many countries are at odds over how they should intervene – if at all.
