Israel is planning on deporting thousands of South Sudanese refugees who have been living there to escape conflict in their own country.

With South Sudan having gained its independence eight months ago, the Israeli government now says that on March 31 it will begin deporting all those South Sudanese refugees who have not accepted a $1,300 offer to voluntarily leave its shores.
