Jakarta struggles with 15-year-old floods

Indonesia’s government is still conducting clean-ups, urging people to join them to help prevent further flooding.

Residents of Indonesia’s capital are being urged to help clean up the city’s waterways in a bid to prevent further flooding.

Some parts of Jakarta are still submerged from floods in 1997, and urban planners are warning that other areas face a waterlogged future.
