Greek farmers see profits go up in smoke

Wildfires that devastated farmland now combine with current fiscal problems to plague agriculture industry.

The farmlands of southern Greece were devastated by wildfires five years ago.

An estimated three per cent of the country’s surface area was scorched and the farming trade is suffering due to the country’s ongoing financial woes.
