Ships threaten Australia’s Great Barrier Reef

Some 5,000 ships that pass by the Great Barrier Reef annually may pose a threat to its survival.

A recent report warns that one of the world’s greatest natural wonders is under threat.

The some 5,000 ships that annually pass by Australia’s Great Barrier Reef  – home to hundreds of species of fish and corals – are getting a little too close for comfort.
