Al Jazeera’s Sherine Tadros answers questions about Egypt’s political turmoil from 20:00GMT on Saturday.
Sherine has been reporting from Cairo where both supporters and opponents of Egypt’s president, Mohamed Morsi, have clashed violently after he assumed sweeping new powers, a demonstration of the deepening polarisation plaguing the country.
She is an award-winning correspondent covering events of the Middle East and North Africa, and has been reporting on the uprisings in Egypt, Yemen and Libya. Other assignments include her coverage of the Hariri indictments in Lebanon and the conflict in Sudan.
One highlight of her career was being one of only two foreign journalists covering the Gaza war in 2008-09 from inside Gaza. In 2009, she was nominated for an Emmy Award and a Monte Carlo Award for her outstanding work.
