French soldiers freed over Ivory Coast murder
Three former peacekeepers get suspended sentences after admitting killing suspected gang leader.

A Paris court has convicted three former French soldiers of killing a man while they were on peacekeeping duties in the Ivory Coast in 2005.
But their sentences were suspended, meaning they will not be imprisoned.
The soldiers admitted killing suspected gang leader Firmin Mahe by putting a plastic bag over his head in the back of their military vehicle, but claimed they were following orders.
