Russian journalist murder trial postponed

Six years after the murder of Anna Politkovskaya there are still concerns over safety of journalists.

The trial of a man suspected of killing the Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya has been extended until March 2013.

It has been more than 6 years since the investigative journalist was shout outside her Moscow apartment building.

Since then, little has been done to protect journalists who have been critical of the Russian government.

Al Jazeera’s Charles Stratford reports from Moscow.
