Boxer’s murder highlights Puerto Rico crime

Thousands mourn Hector “Macho” Camacho amid an increasingly deadly wave of violence.

Family, fans and fellow boxers have said goodbye to Hector “Macho” Camacho at a memorial in Puerto Rico.

The 50-year-old world boxing champion was shot in his home city of Bayamon last week. His killing has highlighted the Caribbean island’s growing crime problem. In the last few days alone, 20 people have been killed.
