Syria rebels fight to control major cities

Opposition fighters rally forces in push for oil-rich northern province in addition to territory in east and north.

Anti-government fighters in Syria have captured new territory in the east and north of the country.

They say they are now improving their co-ordination in efforts to control major cities like Idlib and Aleppo. They are also rallying forces for what they describe as a final push on the oil-rich province of Hassake.
