Uganda’s fish stocks depleting

The fish from Lake Victoria that more than two million people depend on are now in decline.

Fish stocks are in decline in Lake Victoria.

It is the second largest lake in the world and more than two million people in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania depend on its fisheries.

But, with one of the highest population growth rates in the world, an increased dependency on Lake Victoria’s fish is now causing a severe decrease in the number of fish.

Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports from Lake Victoria, Uganda.
