Eurozone crisis may trouble new US president

Experts says financial crisis, little discussed in election, has potential to jeopardise fragile economic recovery.

Domestic concerns have eclipsed foreign policy in the race to the White House.

Even the third presidential debate, which focused on international issues, did not mention the wider eurozone debt crisis.

However, experts argue that whoever wins the election, they should be aware that the economies are connected and if Europe goes down, the fragile US recovery could be put at jeopardy.
