Afghan bomb squads clear deadly roads

Al Jazeera joins one of nation’s first independent bomb disposal teams as they secure Helmand roads.

Afghan military convoys used to rely on NATO to sweep the roads of improvised explosive devices.

Al Jazeera’s Steve Chao joined up with one of the teams in Helmand province.
