Haiti appeals for foreign aid in Sandy’s wake

Residents in fear of potential food crisis and cholera outbreak in deadly hurricane’s aftermath.

Superstorm Sandy has wreaked havoc in a number of Caribbean countries, including Haiti, where it killed dozens of people and wiped out vast swathes of crucial crops.

The country is now appealing for international help to feed its people and prevent another cholera outbreak.

Al Jazeera’s Rachel Levin reports from southern Haiti.
