S Africa miners allege harassment

With police shooting under investigation, workers at platinum mine say they are being prevented from testifying.

A judicial commission in South Africa is investigating the deaths of 44 people during protests at the Lonmin mine in August. However, workers at the world’s top platinum producer say police are putting them in jail to prevent them from testifying.

Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports from the platinum mining heartland of Marikana.
