Indonesian schools to push patriotism
English and science among subjects up for cuts as religion and nationalism courses being promoted.

In a bid to lighten the workload of its students, the Indonesian government is mulling over a change to the primary school curriculum that would see the elimination of English, science, and social studies.
Religion, the Indonesian language and nationalism lessons, deemed essential, are set to take the place of the aforementioned subjects, should they be axed.
