Libya’s wounded fighters bemoan treatment
Injured veterans of the conflict that toppled Gaddafi say they have been let down by the country’s new leaders.

There is growing resentment among some veterans of the conflict in Libya against the ruling National Transitional Council, particularly over the lack of financial and medical support provided for those injured during the war that toppled Muammar Gaddafi.
While many fighters have been sent abroad for operations, the war-torn country’s lack of facilities to deal with the specialised aftercare and treatment for those wounded in combat remains apparent.
