Egypt’s new parliament appoints speaker
The Muslim Brotherhood takes the top job in the lower house of parliamentin in Egypt.

For decades they were banned from participating in politics, but now a member of the Muslim Brotherhood has taken the top job in Egypt’s new parliament.
Saad al-Katatni was sworn in as Speaker on Monday during the first session of the lower house.
