Al Jazeera has managed to track down one of the leaders of the Pakistani Taliban hiding in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush mountains.
Faqir Mohammad told Al Jazeera that his men are waiting to see what the Pakistani government will do before agreeing to peace talks.
The conversation though, seems to confirm that the group has splintered and no longer has a unified chain of command.
