‘Old media’ lives on in New Delhi
In the era of computers, some people in India are still using the typewriter.

Although the typewriter has become largely obsolete in much of the world, deep inside New Delhi’s courts the sound of metallic keys rattling on paper is a constant.
The typewriter doesn’t need electricity and neither is there provision for electrical power at the courts.
“I’ve been doing this for 22 years and I’ll keep typing until the end,” said typist Jaspinder Kumar Sachdeva.
