Mississippi stalls gubernatorial pardons
A judge in the US state rules in favour of some victims’ families who still feel threatened by convicts.

A judge in the the US state of Mississippi is putting pardons on hold for some convicts for whom the former governor granted clemency, as the new governor says he will not let anyone free.
More than 200 people received pardons from former Governor Haley Barbour, which has caused outrage among some victims’ families and law enforcement officials.
