‘No trial’ for UK spies over torture claims
Court finds “insufficient evidence” that agents had role in torture of detainee held in Guantanamo.

Two officer’s from Mi5 and Mi6, Britain’s internal and external spy agencies, have been cleared over allegations that they colluded with the torture by the government’s prosecution service.
The most high profile detainee involved in this was Binyamin Mohamed, who alleged being tortured by both US and British forces while detained in Guantanamo prison in Cuba.
Although the investigation into the claims of collusion has ended, authorities say the case could be re-opened if new evidence emerges.
