Chile’s Mapuches blamed for forest fires
Government steps up raids against indigenous Indian community which denies any involvement.

The Chilean government has been stepping up raids against Mapuche Indian communities after it blamed them for forest fires.
Seven people were killed in one of the blazes. The Mapuches deny any involvement and say that the government is using the fires as an excuse to attack them.
