Australia seeks to rebuild after floods
Many homes remain abandoned a year after floods ravaged the state of Queensland.

It has been a year since the Australian state of Queensland was flooded leaving tens of thousands displaced.
Two hundred thousand people were affected by the floods. Towns, cities and the state’s crucial mining industry were paralysed.
While the country has bounced back economically, home after home remains abandoned in certain areas.
Al Jazeera’s Andrew Thomas reports from Grantham, Australia.
