Demonstrators in the Tunisian capital have voiced their disgust at a case they say has turned a victim into the accused.
Two policemen are accused of raping a woman. But the woman and her partner – who made the rape allegation – have been charged with public indecency, and now face a six month jail sentence if convicted.
Human rights groups say the case is an outrage in democratic Tunisia, and a sign of growing religious conservatism since the coalition government took power last year.
