Refugee exodus from Timbuktu

Mali faces a refugee crisis, as many people flee south from Tuareg-controlled northern areas.

An interim government is expected to take power in Mali, but the biggest concern for them will be how to deal with increasing number of refugees coming south from Northern Mali.

Many African tribes are fleeing from Tuareg rebels who are now in control of large parts of northern Mali, which they claim is now the independent country of Azawad.

Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Vall reports from Timbuktu.
