Refugees pour into Kenya camp

Somali famine victims keep streaming into Dadaab, more than three months after the crisis began.

Hunger-stricken victims are still streaming into northeastern Kenya’s Dadaab camp, the world’s largest refugee site, three and a half months after the UN declared a famine in neighbouring Somalia.

The camp reached its full occupancy in 2008, according to officials, yet more than 1,000 refugees arrive each day.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent Peter Greste reports from Dadaab.
