Mexico court defers abortion law to states

Mexico’s supreme court has upheld a strict anti-abortion law that says life begins at conception.
The judges ruled that the law in the state of Baja California was constitutional.
The decision paves the way for each of Mexico’s 31 states to decide on their own abortion laws.
