US volunteers keep lighthouse lit up
While many maritime buildings lie in disrepair, one is being looked after in Michigan.

For two centuries, lighthouses played a key role protecting shipping on North America’s Great Lakes.
Few of them remain in service, but in the US state of Michigan, volunteers are determined to preserve the region’s maritime history.
