Controversy has been brewing in Arizona over one lawmaker’s bid to remove the name of a local Sikh man from a 9/11 memorial.
The lawmaker argued that Balbir Singh Sodhi, who was murdered four days after the September 11, 2001, attacks in a revenge killing, was not an actual victim of the attacks.
Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo speaks to Jim Walsh, a reporter for the Arizona Republic, who sheds more light on the case.
