No closing date in sight for Guantanamo
Military trials at the prison site in Cuba have resumed, as detainees are being held indefinitely.

While campaigning for the US presidency, Barack Obama often repeated a central promise to close down Guantanamo.
But a US policy u-turn came this March when Obama signed an executive order creating a formal system for detainees to be held indefinitely.
Military trials at Guantanamo Bay also resumed, and today there is no longer any clear closing date in sight.
