Of all the measures of a nation’s prospects, the state of its education system is a sure indicator – and Afghanistan is no exception.
A decade after the US invasion, Afghan girls have the opportunity to study and pursue careers previously closed to them by the Taliban.
But this opportunity for urban youths is an exception rather than the rule.
Al Jazeera’s Paul Brennan reports from the capital, Kabul.
