Many of Haiti’s more than 600,000 displaced by the country’s devastating 2010 earthquake are now struggling to finding shelter again.

A significant number who had set up camps on private land have already been left with nowhere to go after eviction from their meager tents by landowners trying to take back control of their property. Some say authorities, working in support of landowners, forced them out by destroying their tents.

The International Organisation for Migration, a rights group, says one in four of those displaced have been threatened with eviction.
