NASA targets private sector
US space agency looks to commercial companies that are working on programmes for manned spaced flight.

SpaceX, one of four private companies contracted by NASA to ferry goods and astronauts to the International Space Station, launched a manned commercial rocket in December.
SpaceX’s biggest achievement so far is successfully returning a spacecraft to earth from orbit.
Experts believe transitioning from government agencies to commercial companies should allow NASA to focus on missions deeper into space.
