A fungus called White Nose Syndrome is killing millions of North American bats.

Bats are natural pest-controllers, eating millions of insects that would otherwise damage crops.

The fungus first appeared in 2006, and has been spreading ever since, disrupting food chains along the way.

Imran Garda reports from outside San Antonio in Texas.
