Battle for Libya: Rebels move closer to Tripoli

After heavy battles between Gaddafi’s forces and opposition forces, the people in western Libya are trying to rebuild their lives.

But as they pick up the pieces, the pro-Gaddafi town of Lawainya remains abandoned after intense shelling raids carried out by the government, according to opposition sources.
